Serina Yamada (山田 瀬里奈 Yamada Serina) is an English teacher at Gakuen Alice with the Sight Alice who has some connection to Koko, but how they are connected exactly is unknown as of now.
Story[]
Northern Woods[]
Serina-sensei is first shown questioning whether Mikan Sakura would be all right in the Northern Woods using her Alice/crystal ball.
Reo Arc[]
She is unsuccessful in finding the whereabouts of Sumire and Mikan and comments that her alice is being affected by a Barrier Alice.
Alice Festival Arc[]
During the dance, Serina and Koko were seen dancing.
Z Invasion Arc[]
Serina and Jinno team up for their portion of the exams so no one would cheat during the test. The students think that this team up is unfair.
Serina uses her crystal ball to find that the missing Hotaru and Mikan are near the site of the exploded car that was likely caused by the invading Z.
Sports Festival Arc[]
She appears as a participant in the Sports Festival in the borrowing contest. Serina's command was to get a coworker you don't like. Her first choice was Jinno, but could not find him so she chose Narumi, although Narumi was not happy about this.
High School Divison Arc[]
She and others teachers are conversing about the chaos in the academy involving the ESP and Mikan's group. Serina and the teachers agree to put their jobs on the line to protect their students.
Alice[]
Serina has the Clairvoyant Alice which enables her to see current things in the present time through her crystal ball.
Etymology[]
- The name Serina means "swift current, rapids" (瀬) (se), "village" (里) (ri) and "apple tree" (奈) (na).
- Serina's surname Yamada means "mountain, hill" (山) (yama) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).
