Mrs. Imai (今井さん, Imai-san) is the unnamed mother of Hotaru and Subaru.
Story[]
She and her husband did what they could to teach Hotaru Imai love and life lessons, something they could not teach her older brother. Before Mikan Sakura went to the academy, Mikan saw Hotaru's mother talking to the principal of the village's school about Hotaru going to Gakuen Alice to save the closing school (as going to the school meant Hotaru would receive money).
